Introducing Robusta roasted coffee at Deva
Robusta coffee, also known as Robusta coffee, is the type of coffee that accounts for 90% of the country’s coffee production. Roasted coffee has a distinctive rich flavor, strong bitterness, combined with a gentle coffee aroma. This is truly the favorite coffee of Vietnamese people.

Robusta coffee has the scientific name Coffea canephora or Coffea robusta , pronounced in Vietnamese as Robuta coffee. The wild woody coffee tree can grow up to 10m high, the shape of the leaves has many similarities to the leaves of the guava tree, so it is also called guava coffee. Robusta accounts for 39% of the total finished coffee products worldwide.
Robusta coffee trees are trees or shrubs, and mature trees can reach up to 10 m in height. Coffee fruits are round, with small seeds and straight grooves. The caffeine content in coffee beans is high, about 2-4%.
Like some other coffee varieties, Robusta coffee trees can start harvesting after 3-4 years. The tree produces seeds in about 20 to 30 years. Robusta coffee prefers to live in tropical regions, the suitable altitude for planting is below 1000 m. The tree’s preferred temperature is about 24-29°C, rainfall is about over 1,000 mm. Robusta coffee trees need more sunlight than Arabica coffee trees.
